James E. (Jim) Stewart is the owner and president of Stewart Builders. He has worked in his family business since college and purchased J. E. Stewart Builders from his father in 1985. In 1998 Jim was named Business Person of the Year by the Aiken Chamber of Commerce. Jim and his wife, the former Sharon Dunn, have three children, Joshua, Whitten, and Nathan. Jim and his family are active members of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Aiken where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Extremely active in his community, Jim is a Patron member of Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness (CNTA), member of the AMBUC’s (American Business Club) – treasurer, Aiken County Red Cross – Board of Directors, Aiken County Dollars for Scholars – Board of Directors, USCA Pacer Club Member, Aiken Running Club and a fundraiser for Young Life of Aiken. Jim is equally active in the business community, serving on the Aiken Electric Cooperative Board of Directors, Wachovia Bank – Advisory Board Member, Junior Chamber of Commerce International (JCI) Senate – member, Aiken County Board of Adjustment and Appeal, Aiken Chamber of Commerce, and a charter member of the Home Builders Association of Aiken County. Previously, Jim served as the Representative for South Carolina House - District 86. He also served as President of the Aiken Jaycees from 1985-86 and they received the award of Number One Chapter in the State of South Carolina. He has served the Chamber of Commerce throughout the years – as Chairman of the Small Business Development Committee and on the Board of Directors. In addition, he served on the Tri-Development Board of Aiken County and Aiken 20/20 Board of Directors. |

Joshua E. Stewart, PE received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 2003. He has been a Project Manager with J.E. Stewart Builders, Inc. since 2007. In 2008 he opened J.E. Stewart Engineering, Inc. and is the Principal and Engineer. Prior to this he was a Structural Engineer with Britt, Peters and Associates, Inc. in Charleston, SC. He holds a SE Level II Professional Engineering License in the states of South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Josh is a member of many professional and community organizations including the Strucutral Engineers Association of South Carolina, the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction, Rotary Club of Aiken, Aiken Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Aiken Railroad Depot Board and Aiken Technical College Foundation Board. |

James Nathan Stewart received his Bachelor of Science in Buisiness Administration with an emphasis in Management and Marketing from Lander University in 2006. He has worked with J.E. Stewart Builders, Inc. since 1999 and has been a Project Manager since 2005. In 2008 Nathan also became the Vice President of J.E. Stewart Engineering, Inc. |
George L. Raborn Jr. has over 35 years experience in industrial construction and metal fabrication. He has been with Stewart Builders since 2004 as a Project Manager and Estimator. Prior to working with Stewart Builders, George was the General Manager at Aiken Iron Works and a Senior Project Technician for the Westinghouse Savannah River Company. |
